By introducing your friends and associates to the benefits of Active 20-30 membership,
you not only are doing them a favor, you are helping our club to stay productive
and strong.
An existing member must sponsor a new member. It is the responsibility of the sponsoring
member to advise the new member of the prerequisites of membership and to accompany
the new member as he satisfies those prerequisites. Before sponsoring a new member,
an existing member must be satisfied that the new member will promote the purposes
of the club and that he will fulfill the minimum attendance requirement of 60 percent
of all luncheon meetings.
A member will qualify to be a sponsor if…
- He’s in good financial standing with the Club.
- He has been a member for 6 consecutive months.
- He has participated in a New Member’s Skit.
Sponsors are expected to…
- Introduce the new member to all Board Members, Officers, and Past Presidents;
- Ensure attendance of the new members at the New Members Social during the first
full term of membership;
- Attend all functions the new member attends, so as to introduce him to the general
membership;
- Track attendance of the new member at all functions for 6 months after he has been
admitted to the Club.
